Step 14: Solder the ends down. I make sure they line up with the jig ends perfectly. How well this is done equates directly to how well the trains run. There is almost a ZERO tolerance here. Step 15: Then I check the ends with my standards gauge. I also run a 6 axle truck over it (the wheels have been checked with the gauge as well).
